Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday

On 21^st April at Little Ripley we celebrated the Queens 90^th birthday!

We decorated the garden with banners and flags for our garden party, and enjoyed eating cucumber sandwiches and cakes. The children were very excited, as while we were eating our afternoon tea, the Queen paid us a surprise visit. She was wearing a crown similar to the ones all the children were wearing in celebration of her birthday. Whispers from the children could be heard as the Queen did her royal wave and blew out the candles on her birthday cake – “I knew she was real!”, “Do you think she likes cake?”
