Christmas Time

Christmas time at Little Ripley’s

This is a very important and fun packed time of the year for our nurseries. All the children are busy writing their wish lists and getting ready for the big day when Santa visits. Our Christmas week started with a visit from the big man himself, followed by all the children and staff dressing up in festive clothes ready for our Christmas party. Big prizes were given to the best dressed! We all enjoyed a midweek delicious Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, made freshly by our lovely cooks. Thursday we made cookies and biscuits ready to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Our week ended with an amazing performance from our pre-school children. We re-enacted the nativity play followed by Christmas carols and a festive dance routine. All parents were invited into the nursery to watch their young stars in action. Smiles and tear (happy ones) were had by all!

As Christmas is all about giving, at Goldieslie Road we entered the Christmas tree festival which involved decorating Christmas trees in a beautiful church and all money raised went to a local charity.
